Commercial Marine Services and Stagfire Ecological Surveys teamed up to move the Monadhliath to her winter berth in Inverness. The Monadhliath is a newly converted live-aboard charter vessel converted in 2014/15, she benefits from entirely new systems throughout. With custom built multi-level decks, specifically designed for seabird and cetacean surveys which conform to the highest industry standards.

The Stagfire team provided competent crew for this fun trip down Loch Ness and through the Caledonian Canal. There were no sightings of Nessie on this occasion, however there was plenty of other wildlife spotted.

The Monadhliath will undergo standard maintenance checks and general repairs over the winter in preparation for what is lining up to be a very exciting 2017.
